West Branch High School senior and Bear running back Luke Lenoch has announced that he will be attending William Penn University this fall to continue his academic and football careers.

Via his Twitter announcement on Sunday evening, Lenoch is thankful for his opportunity to play for the University and is grateful for his four years at West Branch.

Proud to announce that I will continue my academic and football career at William Penn University! Thanks to all the coaches who have given me the light of day and I am so fortunate to have played for such a prestigious high school program and great community. I would like to thank coach Hinnah for all the effort put forth in this recruiting process. I would finally like to thank my loving parents for giving me this opportunity and supporting me with everything!

Lenoch played his final game as a Bear this past fall, helping the team finish the season with a 6-4 record and making the playoffs for a ninth straight year. The running back finished his carrer with 6,022 rushing yards and 87 rushing touchdowns, both of which are West Branch High School records.

Best of luck to Luke and his Statesmen teammates this upcoming football season!
